Privacy policy

No account, no ads, nothing sold

Super Muslim has no accounts. It does not show ads. It does not use tracking or analytics. It does not take payment. It does not sell personal information, and it does not share personal information with advertisers or data brokers. You can use the whole app without sending anything.

If you choose to send a form, that form is stored in a private Cloudflare database run for this app. If that save fails for a tribe, event, newsletter, sign-up, or matchmaking form, the app opens an email in your own mail app to [email protected], and nothing is emailed until you tap send. Feedback is different: Send posts the note to the database. It does not open your mail app. You can attach up to three screenshots. Those pictures are not saved on this device and are not stored in the database. They are included only in the email copy to the office. If that send fails, the note and any screenshots stay in the form so you can try again. Support or Sponsor only shows that address so you can copy it.

What a form can store

Each stored form also keeps the IP address of the connection, and only so the database can limit how many forms one connection can send in a short time. The IP address is not used for advertising.

A welcome sign-up can store: name, email, male or female, WhatsApp number, a community link, an event date, city and link, tribe country and city, and, if you ask for matchmaking, age, occupation, city, languages, a short note, a photo note, and one social link.

Matchmaking can store: name, email, age that must be 18+, male or female, occupation, city, country, languages, about you, one social link, confirmation that the profile was active in the past 30 days, and a photo note. Matchmaking rows are never shown in the app.

A tribe can store: tribe name, city, country, email, optional WhatsApp number, and description. An event or retreat can store: name, dates, city, country, and the official page link. The newsletter stores the email address. Feedback can store: the message, your setup name and email when you have entered them, the app version, a short device summary (browser, platform, language, and screen size), and how many screenshots you attached. The screenshot files themselves are not stored in the database. After the row is stored, the server can email the note and those optional pictures to [email protected]. The note and the pictures are not kept on the phone after a successful send.

After review, an approved tribe or event can be shown in the app with its name, place, description or dates, and the event link. Email addresses, phone numbers, and IP addresses are not shown there. Matchmaking, newsletter addresses, sign-ups, and feedback are never shown in the app.

What stays on this device

These stay on this phone until you erase them: bookmarks, where you stopped reading, notes, Wirds, the Tasbih count, Hajj checklist ticks, Sunnah ticks, Ramadan plans, Learn to read progress, the app language, and the profile name, email, and male or female. Location, if you allow it, is used on the device only. A form you already sent is also kept in the private Cloudflare database. Factory reset on this phone does not delete that copy.

Location

If you grant location, the app uses it on the device only, while the app is open, to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. The location is not sent to PRET A COVER LTD and is not used in the background. You can refuse the permission and choose a city instead. You can still read the Quran either way.

Quran text and audio

Audio and Quran text are downloaded from public sources. Those downloads do not include your name, email, bookmarks, or notes. No personal data is sent with them.

How to erase data

Factory reset in Settings erases the bookmarks, personal notes, Tasbih count, and settings choices stored by the app on this device. Uninstalling the app removes what the phone keeps for it. To ask for a form already stored in the private database to be deleted, email [email protected] and say which form and which email address it used.

Children

Matchmaking is only for adults aged 18 and over. The app does not require an account. Every question can be skipped, including by a child.
